Dear Nellie (sorry I posted before my answer as own post ... technical handling problems of a beginner ;-),
last year I designed an interdisciplinary assignment for tourism and IT students that brought together the two departments, tutoring the teams in their activity to develop webpages for local tourism initiatives to be placed on a promotional website for Cabo Delgado, Mozambique. The collaboration of the tutors of two different departments worked out very well.
You may find the paper under "FORUM". I do have a very nice video documentation (16min/180mb) that was produced simultaneously with the pilot assignment (in Portuguese language with English subtitles).
