Edupassion.com introduction : online grade report.

Hi,
I'm Nicolas Zozol, founder of Edupassion.com and former science Teacher in Paris and Boston.

Edupassion.com provides an online grade report for Teachers, Students, Administration members and soon to parents.

The main interest of this software is to allow students to react more quickly when they see their averages. The software will also make the calcultions easy and sure for the Teacher, whatever is the scale or weight of each grade.

The priority is the simplicty : users won't need hours of expensive training. And because it's 100% online, there is nothing to install.

You can try it for free during 3 months. Edupassion will remain free for a Teacher and one Course, less than 200$ for the whole School.

In a few month, a quizz system and pedagogical games will follow on the same platform.

Feel free to send any comment,

Oups, I replied to fast :)
Moodle is the open-source project like Claroline - sorry for the confusion.

Well Edupassion is different because it focuses on SIMPLICITY. There will be no IT manager needed, no special training (people needs to know how to handle a web browser).
Moodle and Claroline are Open source wich is great, but you need some people to install it, upgrade it, etc. It's not the case of Edupassion (or Blackboard).

My company, Robusta Web, also promotes Open Source, and released the sources of the Robusta Web Toolkit : a Java library used for building Edupassion.

Hi,
I changed the price policy : Edupassion will be free for the first two years, at least for the first 500 schools. The new technology (cloud computing) will allow this without costing me a lot of money.

Moodle and Blackboard are very expensive, probably because they spend a lot of money on sales and marketing teams : they fight for the few schools that can pay it. The approach of Edupassion, based in France, is to focus on technologies and products until the world market is big enough.

There is still some work to do, as I my company does not have the same resources that Moodle, and I will contact you back in the summer when I'll be sure the system is strong enough to meet your expectations.

I've worked three years in the International School of Boston, and I think I understand what an american school community is waiting for.

Thanx for your post,
Sincerly,
Nicolas

Hi Nicolas Sorry haven't check this for a while, Moodle is our platform and it has reporting features. I am working for the Government and they hate spending money as you know.
