Social networks will become more a part of the institutes push towards e-Learning. Part of my new job role it will be to develop a strategy around this area. make no mistake Ning, Facebook etc. are all areas in which the Institute want to be involved &/or develop. It will most likely be a mix of some sort of platform like this combined with a more formal LMS such as Moodle or TAFE VC.
