Welcome to E-learning Project Connect,

This network is the product of a few events of the past several weeks. Firstly the National Learning Marketplace forum held by educationau on the proposed creation of a national online marketplace for the VET sector, which is a project I consider to be of great potential. Secondly the fact that several of my colleagues/acquaintances from my e-learning network are actively in the market for a job, and thirdly the fantastic e-learning conference Edayz and in particular the keynote speech by Brad Beach where he emphatically pointed out the shortage of online facilitators and his inability/difficulty to source them for jobs at Gipps TAFE.

So the idea is for us folks in the e-learning world here in Australia (or overseas if you wish) to get together and if there are jobs around, or projects on the horizon, or events you should get to then you should be able to find them and talk about them here. It is my intention to build the capabilities and the services of this site over the coming months, but a network does not build itself. So if you have made it this far, join the community add some info to your profile and link to your blog, your linkedin profile, your Facebook profile, your Twitter nick or whatever is your social media poison of choice.
